Family Service Board
The board members are expected to participate in board member orientation activities designed to further delineate member functions and lead to further understanding of the various levels of the agency.

Healthy Families Advisory Council
The Advisory Council consults at least semi-annually on specific issues facing the program, statistics, funding issues, community issues, and program changes.

Caring Parents Action Team
The Action Team provides Caring Parents with leadership and guidance for curriculum, programming and operational issues. Members advocate for resources in the community, assist with volunteer recruitment and help with fund-raising. The Team meets quarterly.

Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Council
CAP Council offers a puppet program regarding personal safety for elementary schools.
Teen/Adult Puppeteer
Puppet program topics include abuse, bullying, stranger danger, etc. Teens learn puppetry skills as well as the importance of child safety.
Provide snacks for teens
There is a weekly rehearsal for teens after school. A volunteer to provide snacks for the teens would be a great opportunity for someone who enjoys baking.
Assist with transporting teens
Many volunteers do not have transportation from school to performance site and/or rehearsal site. CAP is looking for a volunteer to transport teens when needed.

Caring Parents Home Visit Volunteer
Caring Parents Home Visitors offer emotional support and provide parent education on infant care, infant safety, and child development to parents of newborns. Only 1-2 hours per month, very flexible hours. Volunteers must be 21; both male and female volunteers are welcome.

Special Events
Caring Parents “Don’t Shake” Run/Walk (April)
Responsibilities include timing, helping at registration, directing runners and more.

Family Fest (August)
Responsibilities range from helping with games to selling food.

Third Party Fund Raisers
Create and coordinate your own fund raiser from start to finish.
