Consultation, Evaluation and VisitationFamily Service offers several programs working under specific contractual agreements with community agencies working with children. These include: Custody/Visitation Evaluation Program: Family Service offers a program to help families create a professionally guided custody/visitation arrangement that is in the best interest of the children. Evaluations can provide objective recommendations for the court, based on assessment of individual and family factors that impact the best interest of the children. The service is provided by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Private Supervised Visitation Program: Parent-Child visits supervised by Master's Level therapists which can meet the requirements of court-ordered, or privately arranged meetings between parent and child when the guidance and observation of an objective professional is needed. Visits provide a safe, structured contact between parent and child. Therapeutic Supervised Visitation Program: Therapeutic supervised visitation services are available to families referred by the Department of Child Services or Family Court to deal with special circumstances involving parent/child visits. Parent/Child visitation supervised by Master's level therapists can be in office, in a client's home, or in a community setting, depending on individual circumstances. A+ (Attend Plus) Program: The goal of the court-referral A+ program is to improve school attendance and help prepare children for life after high school The A+ program provides classes and family case managers to help students stay in school and prepare for life after graduation.
