_Everyone needs a little extra help now and then. An outside opinion. A bit of advice or a plan of action. Someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on. That’s what the Family Service Counseling Program is all about.

Our master’s level therapists provide a variety of counseling services—individual, marital, family and/or group—for youth, teens and adults. Services can be arranged at the Family Service offices or at the client’s home, school, work or even another location such as the Commons or a park.

Counseling is a valuable resource to people in times of need, and Family Service is committed to helping however possible. For more information, click here.

 Ready, Set, Run/Walk!

9th Annual Caring Parents "Don't Shake" Run/Walk
April 14, 2012

10K Run ~ 5K Run ~ 5K Walk ~ Kid's Fun Run
Overall and Age Group Awards ~ Door prizes

Participant amenities include blood pressure, body mass and bone density checks courtesy of Kroger, chiropractic services from Mandy Wyant (Family Chiropractic & Wellness) and massage from Nicholle R. Richie (Columbus Massage Center).

Early Bird registrants who order an event shirt receive a $5 Subway gift card. And the first 200 registrants receive a wrist wallet from REACH Healthy Communities.

Proceeds help support Caring Parent's home visit program and "Never Shake a Baby" campaign. Since starting the campaign in 2003, there have been 0 cases of Shaken Baby in Bartholomew County.
